YOYYOYYOYYYYOYOY

hello!!!! whats up!!!!... sooo i know its been alooooooong time since i updated this blog.. i was sooo down with my love life and down with my car.. but now i have my car im sooooo happy... i have finally put in the ae86 lsd ... but the car has a few sounds coming from the lsd... but never the less i drifted the car like nobodies business.. hahahaha... sooo the setup for the back was toyota springs but not sure what springs.. and standard abs.. and an ae86 axle... hahahah.... and using proton wira brakes.... cause i didnt have my own brakes on the axle.. so i had to improvise... the end result is in the vid.. hope u guys like it...

Saturday night fever... lol..







ok, so its been almost 2 months since i've updated here. reason being is cause im already putting in an ae86 lsd in my datto, mwhahahahahah!!.. but sad part is that i cant find any brakes to fit it into the axle.. sooo i was bored out of my mind so i went to this saturday night fever event... it was fun.. really got to release some stress of my chest.. so without further authou i give to you pics.. HAHAHAH. but only a few pics cause... i cant take proper pics in the dark.. lol

entered my first competition..

yo guys sup!! .. so last weekend i entered a gymkhana competition. was great!!! had lots of fun!!! i encourage car enthusiast to join cause u get to know ur car more with the comp.. heheheheh... so i basically have pictures and videos to show u guys.. so enjoy!!!

SPRRRRRIIIIIIIIINGGSSS!!!!!!

YoYOUOUOYOUOU!!!! so i have successfully installed new springs and the outcome was awesome.. the car is much more responsive in terms of handling and cornering.. heheheh... but the problem is that the back is much lower then the front.. so i really need to get the fronts lower..

from what you can see here, its the rear absorber, so the first thing i did was to unscrew that bugger i didnt have the right tools to unscrew the absorbers from the bottom so i had to improvise.. ahahhaha...


then next you have to loosen the tyre nut, then only you jack up the car. before you jack up the car you have to see if your body of the car is capable of jacking up. unlike mine i have to find a proper spot to jack it up..



ok so once i remove the rims, i then to slow pull out the old springs and replace it with this new springs. ok so this spring is from a saga aero back. or saga lmst. OR a mitsubishi fiore.. its from the back spring.. so as you can see the spring is way to low for the cars body so you have to slowly lower the body correctly and let it settle on the spring.. so this is just almost of the finishing after completing the whole thing remember to tighten everything ok???


ok so this is my original spring.. yerp its that tall.. ahhahaha.. so now i just need to find new springs for my front.. welll guys i'll update you on my car.. so far everything is going smoothly.. just need the extra cash now.. haih.. soon i'll get my way!!!

The difference between A12 and A15..


Ok guys!!!!!!!! so this is it, maybe for some of you guys your wondering they both look the same.. so i'll let you guys guess which is the A15 and which is the A12..... hahahahhaha ok so now since you guys have your own answers the correct answer if your asking which is the A15, its the top pic.. and the bottom is the A12.. not much of a difference right?? thats why they say you can take it out and put it in, its like a mirror image of the A12... so now you guys know how to do it right? if you guys have any questions please do ask.... how old or what where who how, doesn't matter, even if your looking at this from 10 years from now you still can ask me.. i'll make sure i keep this page going.. i want people to look and get tips from this blog... so yeap thats all for now.. hahahahha.. will update you guys once i have new upgrades... hope you guys enjoy the run for the timebeing...

So its a sunday morning!!!!!! and the best part is its raining. but only for a few minutes... couldnt go sideways actually. but i did enjoice in abit of 180 degree turn at the penchala link... HAHAHAHAH... its a rare thing i'd do but.. hey its a sunday so why not.. so here are some of the picts :

The New heart.



Ok guys so what we have here is an A12 engine that is plain stock... but what i did was to change the whole engine to an A15.. HAHHAHAHA... so now i have the power but i need to change the carb... soon... ok so what i need to let u guys know about the transplant is that we need to have a PROPER ENGINE HOIST !!!!!.. this is REALLY IMPORTANT GUYS!!! cause the change is VERY SIMPLE!!!!... just need to take the old engine out and replace the engine mounts and just patch back the A15 engine... dont really need to do anything the exhaust manifold is the same the carb manifold is the same everything is the same.... just need to take it out and your done... really simple... i dont have a vid but yes,, dont worry the transplant is easy.. just take out and put back.... thats all for the engine transplant part,, yes i know its not enough but its very easy to do just get 4 friends and your ready to change... owh i've already tested my car with a 16v 4Age... my 3rd gear really kicked ass.. but when im in 4th gear i lost the lead. but hey.. glad that i know what i need to do... hehehehehehhe... hopefully with the carb change i can get more from the engine...

heyheyhey. so im posting the new things i did to my car... i just changed my tires today.. total was rm70 bucks .. so now i have like 4 tyres with 13 inch 175/50.. now the car looks abit more better.. BUT!!! i have this problem where the left tire is banging against the abs.. so i need to find a solution to that soon. hopefully i can.. i did order new spacers for the car but.. im afraid it'd be to big for the car... but hope it can fit so that i wont hit the abs... haih...!!!! im so worried....

Hey guys whats issssssss upppppppp???????? i have alot of things to update on but im quite busy for this whole week so i'll put up as many things as i can, so we have my newly done up side mirror MIRROR that i (might have told you guys about) didnt actually broke. ok so anyways, i was searching around the internet for ideas to cut the glass and make it into the shape i wanted.. then i came up to this video in you tube where he showed a glass and 1 scissors.. ok so i followed the trick abit, but first i cutted the glass with a glass cutter in to the shape i wanted.. so this is the image i followed. ok so i'll explain, the black line is the lines i made using the glass cutter and the blue line is the shape of the mirror.. this is just an example only... ok, so after that i just put the mirror in the water and start to break of the pieces.. what i did is just a test actually. then when i got to the shape i wanted i then start to use the scissors to cut the edge of the mirror... shown in this video.....: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2RLzzNNNwg i started to just trim the edges.. then slowly but surely i made it to the shape it is today... here :

Reason for this blog.

Ok so the reason i wanted to put up this blog is because there arent many b310 blogs out there that are up to date.. so i figured that maybe future enthusiast will need info on how to do upgrade on their b310 so i decided to put this up.. so unlike my other mods that are mostly exterior mods.. some mods that are engine related i'd have to be abit more detailed because some of you out there are familiar with this type of engine to i figured for the love of the sport i'd be glad to update you guys on this.. so heres to the future b310 or even datsun enthusiast.. i wish you good luck on your project..

Change new set of abs in the front and cut 1 ring from the springs at the back

So yeah hey, its been a while since i updated my blog.. so my latest project from my car is to stiffen the abs in front.. so i change the old ones, and replaced it with the kayaba abs.. its kinda flimsy but it still did the job, owh the day i got it change is the day i manage to drift it.. it was sooooo awesome.. didnt believe i could drift the car... with the help of sifu zamil.. hehehehe.. so my latest update with the car is to put in the A15 i have at home.. so i just send it to the shop a while ago... so hope fully by next week i could drift it without the rain.. hehehhe so i'll post a vid for who ever is reading..

new rims!!


Last week i got myself a new set of rim and tires and also new abs and i cut the springs by just 1 spring so the car is now balanced... waiting for a photo... the abs cost me around rm220 with the cutting of the springs, and my brake pump is out so i need to get that changed, the mech said i needed to use a mitsubishi tredia servo, so i'll be doing that later so in the mean while i need to check my brake fluid more often. from humble beginnings to this... now its driftable.. didnt need to lock the diff just using an open diff and a standard A12 will just do for now.. bigger tires and stiffer suspensions are really what drifting is all about.. hahaha.. so heres the latest look of my car.. hope you guys are out there are enjoying the updates im giving

SOmething about me....

Hmmm.. im actually a hands on kinda guy.. i hate desk jobs.. what is it that i really want in life.. is to be accepted the way i am.. in life there are always people that wants you to do what is best for you.. im currently working in a place i dont really like... i used to do surveys.. i love talking to people i love interacting with them, it makes me feel like i can do something to change the world one person at a time.. hahaha..
( i think by now you think im crazy ) yeah i know im into cars but i have this kind of thinking.. its really strange i know.. but thats just the way i am.. now i really dont know what to do in life.. some say if your stuck always pray.. yes you cant always pray your way out of everything right? there are times you can pray and there are times you need to pray and do something about it.. right now im praying and trying to do something about it..
what i want in life is to be a professional racer.. its cheesy but i love cars i love being in the drivers seat (even though i cant drive that good.. ) i love the adrenaline when you get in the speed lane.. but im quite far from what i want to be.. i barely have a car for any race... i barely manage my life.. i really have no clue what to do..

(takes a 5 minute break) haih.. usually my girl will always tell me what to do.. im tired of that.. i love being around cars.. i love the smell of tyres.. i love the smell of fuel.. i love everything about cars.. its just that i havent gotten to that stage yet... ...

but everytime i want to be in a competition i dont always get there.. not enough set up for the car.. not enough money.. never enough time.. theres always something in my way of letting me do what i wanna do.. haih.... maybe its my passion to have something done my way that makes me DIY my own stuff to the car..

changing the steering wheel.

ok this time i had to change the steering wheel because the wheel had given me a cut.. and the previous owner used piping tape to tape up the steering wheel.. so i had a whole 3 hours to change the steering wheel so long because the original bosskit was giving me alot of problems.. but the end result is as stated below.. i bought the steering wheel for rm120 a cheap rip off of the nardi wheel.. but its very comfortable and easy to handle.. another diy... a tip if you want to diy.. make sure you have all your tools.. like for me the allen key for the steering wheel was given.. so i had an easy time removing the steering wheel but i had a big problem unscrewing the big nut in the middle of the bosskit... its an old car soo i had to be a bit rough on it.. but eventually i changed it, but another problem came in where the horn button was not fit to be used in the old bosskit so i had to use the old horn.. kinda oldskool meets new skool..

this is the time where i really needed to paint the car.. diy painting the back of the hood.. i had to take it out to makesure i'd spray the whole thing evenly.. i'd recommend a good brand like matahari, i like the brand of paint cause it sticks and doesnt come out easily.. but you can try and error with a few brands.. and makesure to tape up the place that you dont want to spray.. hahahah or you'll end up like me..

DIY bodywork..







ok so during this time i had to do some bodywork because the car was rusting in a lot of places... so this is some of the work i did to the car...

b310 120y aircond hose rubbing


ok so during this day.. its already February so its time for my car to make a mess out of everything.. so during a late night drive with zamil and ilman my car had a great problem the radiator hose blew its lid.. cause the
hose was rubbing against the aircond wheel.. so this was the image after the ESPLOSION!!!!!!!.. litteraly the hole car was wet.. hahaha not in that sense.... so after the incident i had to send it to the workshop.. ok, this happend after chinese new year.. so all of the service shop was closed.. i had to wait 1 week just to changed the hose.. after i changed it.. i had to zip tie the hose....

ok so here is one more update about the car, the meter is kinda fuzzy.. only on certain cays the car will show its real reading, the petrol tank reading on my right is just a lie. on the day i had to drive this car.. the tank was saying half tank, half way through the journey my car died. yup the car had no gas.. so the meter was A LIE!!!... i really felt what an oldskool cars feeling... i mean i now only know what a car enthusiast feels.. eventhough you think nothing really needs to be changed, it will always need changing someday.. haih....

Early start of the B310 120y.

ok so in january 2011 i got my first 2nd hand car. its supposed to be my very own project car so that i could drift it in the future. the cars original owner was a chinese guy, so i thought "hey no problem right the car should be in good condition." hahaha i was wrong. but let me start of with just a minor mod to the car. i was so excited at first when i got the car i really wanted to get a hands on feel about the car so i started small repainting the wiper arms black again.. so on my left there is the finished version of me sand paper-ing the wiper arms.. but its just a normal mod so not much has been done to it.. so after i've completed re painting the wiper arm is started to realize that the wiring in the car had gone cocko!!.. the lights were out, the light switch was not in the right place and i have no radio.. hahaha.. and the main thing is that the wind screen is leaking.. i have a lot more updates.. to come.. just found sometime to update this blog..

datsun b310 120y

hello ya'll!!! just wanted to say thanks for reading about oldschool cars and also having the passion for old school cars. Ok so here goes, im just a normal teen having normal hobbies and such.. so starting this year i got my own project car, basically its a reall DIY junkie, but DIY is the best part of a hobby. you get to fix it with hard work to make it as cool and as personal as you want it to be.. hahaha.. so as i was saying i got my own project car its a b310 120y datsun, yerp a real oldschool car, its registered in 1979.. hahahah.. you might be saying " dude its too old or what if it breaks down" hahaha let me tell you you havent seen the problem i had to go to just to get this car road legal.. hahahah.. but im just gonna info you guys on the basic stuff here.. its a really marvelous oldschool car, and also my first choice.. hahahah.. so i have atleast 10 to 12 problems on this car.. for instance i had problem with the horn and headlights at first, but then when i got deeper i saw that the floorboard had holes, the fuse box is broken down to 2 units, the axle has a funny noise when you drive faster, the body has holes in it in many places that you wont believe existed( just over exaggerating)
